		<description>Don&#039;t get me started... :)  Between the psych and sociology classes and the dog training, it is clear that carrot/stick only works for some things sometimes - on any creature, really.  External or monetary reward only goes so far.  But since we&#039;ve been doing it this way forever, there&#039;s no reason to change, right? :)</description>
